James Brennan
Mr. Brennan, our President, founded Next Complex Change (NCC) Ventures in 2002 and brings significant experience, knowledge, track record of success, relationship skills and leadership to the NCC Ventures team.
He is past President of two manufacturing companies, a member of the partner group at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and was also a senior member of the CEO’s team at Bank One. He is a business advisor who has been in executive roles at a variety of entrepreneurial companies, not-for-profit and for-profit companies.
He is a recognized change agent known for planning and driving major operational improvements that yield significant tangible results across a wide range of organizations, industries and cultures.
Mr. Brennan brings a proven ability to think strategically and assess an organization; identify the appropriate stretch goals; design, cost justify and plan the holistic process, technology, organization and change management required; and then build the culture, the teams and manage the overall effort to accomplish significant objectives.
Mr. Brennan’s experience includes leading numerous comprehensive business transformation programs that significantly improved operations, reduced total costs by 50%, removed $100M out of a $1B budget, and accrued merger savings of $1.7B.
Mr. Brennan holds a B.S. in Microbiology and an MBA in Financial Analysis from The Ohio State University. Mr. Brennan is on the North Central Regional Board of INROADS Inc, as well as the Alumni, Pace Setters and Center for International Business Education & Research (CIBER) Boards at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
