Craig Miller

While at Wells Fargo Consumer Lending, where he was Executive Vice President, he served as the Mortgage Executive and Delivery Leader responsible in the Global Program Initiative to represent mortgage and re-engineer all processes, data, policies, standards and technology from Sales Application to Servicing. The scope crossed all lines-of-business, with the goal of harvesting best practices and driving synergies and reuse across the entities. His responsibility included process design, requirements, design and overseeing the technology build and testing for Sales Portals, Underwriting, Fulfillment, Imaging/Workflow, Doc generation/management, Closing/Funding and Post Closing.   

Also at Wells Fargo Consumer Lending, Craig led all Retail Fulfillment teams across the country, supporting over 11,000 sales producers. The team managed 60 sites (distributed channel), 2 call center sites and 12 sites for specialty products.

With First Union/Wachovia, Mr. Millers was Senior Vice President and CIO for the Capital Management Group, which included all technology, some operations, and leadership for strategic business planning, reporting to the Vice Chairman.

Mr. Miller was hired by Providian Financial as Senior Vice President and CIO to rebuild the core processes and systems supporting their 4000 sales producers. New sales systems and processes resulted in productivity improvement of 25%.

Mr. Miller was part of the executive team as CIO that was recruited in the early 1990’s that led a turnaround of the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, which was a failing insurance company, returning it to profitability and growth in under three years. My primary role was to re-engineer processes and systems to drive efficiency, quality, and improved customer acquisition and care, as well as Provider management.

Mr. Miller began his career with Accenture Consulting where was a partner leading consulting projects across Financial Services, with specialty in large project management, process re-engineering and system planning. He led the Financial Services Practice (P&L) for Ohio from 1989 through 1992.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and a minor in Industrial Engineering.
